Alison started dancing at age 2, and quickly began instructing with the Sughure Sisters.  She majored in Elementary Education, and brought  her passion for teaching to the dance world. She furthered her training at Jeannette Neill's, Gus Giordano, Joe Tremaine, and more.  She has successfully operated her own business for 29 years.  While the younger ages are her forte, tap is her favorite subject.  Alison believes the dance experience has life long character building rewards.

Samantha Capone

Acro, Contemporary, Competition Instructor

Samantha has taught at studios and colleges all over New England, but has been with Ta-Dah Studio of Dance since 2014. Her love and passion for dance shines through her students and award-winning choreography. Sam is an extremely versatile dancer, but her favorite styles are classic jazz and contemporary. She has also appeared in movies, modeled at Boston Fashion Week and for Finding Hope with Fashion, and was the President of Middlesex Community College Dance Club. In her spare time Sam loves cooking with her husband, playing with her dogs, practicing yoga and spending time outdoors on an adventure!

Maggie Corey

Maggie discovered her love for dance at TSOD, where she began dancing at age 2. She studied American Studies at Connecticut College, where she also had numerous opportunities to expand her dance education through student-organized clubs and performances as well as dance department showcases and faculty classes. Most recently, Maggie completed her Master’s degree in History at Brandeis University. She hopes to become a high school history teacher in the near future, though currently, when she’s not at the studio, you can find her waitressing at Johnson’s Restaurant in Groton, MA. Maggie loves all things TSOD, but most of all, she loves being a part of such a loving, supportive and encouraging community. 

Renee Welcome

Adult Ballet, Jazz 

Renée has been dancing since she was three years old, trying out many styles including ballet, Irish Step, and cheer dance. In high school, Renee began assisting with the younger classes in ballet, tap, and jazz. Renee attended Northern Essex Community College with a double major in Dance Pedagogy and Dance, focusing on modern dance technique and choreography. She has now been teaching at various studios for the last 14 years and is celebrating her 6th year with Ta-Dah!

Adrien Aries

Adrien Aries has always been an artist first; starting his dance training as a child, Adrien studied ballet and tap during grade school, quickly expanding his interest to contemporary and hip hop. He has knowledge as a dancer, and as a musician as well; Adrien can play multiple

instruments such as the guitar and is a vocalist. In addition to his artistry, he is passionate about the health of the human body; he focusing on fitness and nutrition to better himself as a human. Adrien received a degree in Recording Engineering from Full Sail University. After taking opportunities to explore careers and art forms, he decided it was time to come back to what he loved. For the past few years, Adrien has been training in hip hop, popping  & animation,  contemporary and temphopical, taking open classes at LA Beatz, Stackz East, Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center and Green Street Studios. He trained in one of The Expressive Movements Intensives, “Hyperbolic Chamber”, which furthered his fundamental training as a dancer and tools as a human. Then, he quickly joined The Expressive Movement and Mill Advised for their most recent seasons as an apprentice and a performer. Having experienced being bullied as a child, Adrien tries his best to be approachable and

supportive as an instructor. He believes a healthy mind and energy are just as important as a

healthy body. Providing a space where his students feel safe to express themselves and free to

move, Adrien gives knowledge willingly while helping others grow.

Kathryn Roper

Ballet, Pointe

Katy started tap dancing at the age of 2, and has been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and modern dance classes for over 20 years locally. She trained with Donna Miceli & performed in her Youth Dance Company throughout her teens, & later graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She further studied at the Boston Ballet, & currently works as a personal fitness trainer full time. Katy has taught at the Donna Miceli Dance Center, 5678 Dance Studio, Elite Dance Company, the Jeanette Neill Dance Studio, & the Walnut Hill School. Former students have danced professionally on cruise ships, at Disneyworld, on Broadway, and in Las Vegas. Others direct their own dance studios, many dance in local college dance teams, & other dancers Katy taught are working as Celtics dancers & Mill City Girls. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion when teaching, while her high energy, constant smile and positive attitude keep her classes lively and fun.
